What Kate Ivey Fitness Is All About
From the Australian Outback to the New Zealand High Country and every in between - our online platform and app called DediKate, makes Health and Fitness accessible to all women.
We are passionate about creating an empowering and relatable platform that enables women to make exercise and health a priority in their busy lives.
At DediKate we focus on fitness, strength, nutrition, a positive mindset and how we feel. It's not about short term weight loss or fad diets, it's about long term success and getting the most out of life!
Our 8 trainers located through NZ and Australia workout with you! Puffing, sweating and doing their best, encouraging you to do the same. And all in only 20-30 minutes!
Types of Workouts
Choose a workout from our wide variety of options. We recommend you do the newest one from the workout type you choose, to get you hitting play ASAP! Remember the sooner you start, the sooner you will be finished.
HIIT Training
Our HIIT workouts are designed to be a short and high intensity blast. Put in maximum effort for a short amount of time to get results.
Weight Training
Using basic equipment, tone and strengthen your body with our low impact strength workouts and our high intensity resistance training workouts that you can do anywhere.
Boxing
We offer two types of boxing workouts; BOXhiit, HIIT style workouts to improve your all round fitness and strength and BOXlift, low impact yet fast paced boxing style weight training workouts.
Yoga & Pilates
Designed to help you centre your mind and body, strengthen, tone and improve your flexibility, muscle balance and control.
Low Impact
Low impact (no jumping) workout options so you can build strength and fitness without high impact on your body.
Pregnancy & Postpartum
We have workouts designed by qualified and experienced pregnancy and postnatal specialists and women's health physio's. So you can move your body effectively, knowing it is safe.

DediKate is made up of a wonderful group of qualified health and fitness professionals whose aim is to provide you with the skills and motivation required to meet your health and fitness goals.
Kate Ivey
Founder and Trainer
Bachelor of Physical Education, Scholarship in Exercise Prescription, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Certificate in Food and Nutrition, Level 3 Circuit Training.
Founder and CEO of Kate Ivey Fitness and DediKate, Kate is passionate about helping women to be successful with their health and fitness, while maintaining balance. She started DediKate to help busy Kiwi women like herself to lead positive, healthy and fitness-filled lives.

Anna McDermid
Head Trainer
Certificate in Exercise Level 3 and 4, Certificate in Group Fitness Level 3, Pre and Postnatal Core Restore Level 1
Anna is our amazing Head Trainer and also a HIIT + Strength Trainer, she loves being able to help train and motivate members from her living room/neighbourhood to theirs. Anna is a mother of two living in sunny Marlborough where the wine grows and flows! She's a HIIT kind of girl and loves the combo of resistance training and HIIT in Ignite! When she's not working, she loves exercising outdoors and heading down the Sounds with her fam. "I wouldn’t say I’m naturally fit or a naturally fast runner, I’ve had to work damn hard to get to where I am now and I’m proud of myself for it!"

Caroline Paterson
HIIT and Strength Trainer
Certificate in Personal Training, Certificate in Boxing for Fitness Instructors, Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary)
Caro is one of our amazing HIIT + Strength trainers based in Christchurch NZ. She's a lover of BOXhiit, BOXlift, Ignite and Sculpt on DediKate. She’s a mother of one very energetic 5 year old boy - Teddy, who is a little legend! She’s also a self confessed ‘Crazy Cat Lady’ and has a Burmese cat named Albie and a Bengal named Leo! In her ‘me’ time she enjoys running, mountain missions or anywhere off grid, along with spending time with friends enjoying good food and of course, bubbles! Family holidays down in Wanaka boating every summer are also a huge highlight.

Claire Turnbull
Nutritionist
BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics, currently completing Diploma in Psychology
Claire is our amazing Nutritionist at DediKate, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with over 18 years working in the health and wellbeing industry. Claire is also the owner and director of the private nutrition practice and workplace wellness company Mission Nutrition. She is also a published author with two best-selling books, and regularly features on Breakfast TV, Fair Go, Seven Sharp, and Newstalk ZB sharing her thoughts on wellbeing. Outside of her work life, you’ll find her running around after her two young boys, being creative in the kitchen (often making a mess!) and listening to podcasts on nutrition, psychology and neuroscience.
