Accountability Having a partner provides you with someone to hold you accountable, you know those times when you’re feeling like you don’t want to exercise? Well, you’ll have someone to push you off the couch to do it. Trust us, this helps, and you’ll feel so much better! When someone else is counting on you to show up, you won’t want to let them down. So it works both ways!
Competitiveness Work with and against your partner - Throughout this challenge you will try to gain more points than your partner but also work with them towards your pair goal! The aim of this challenge is to motivate and encourage each other. The competitive element is motivating for some while working together as a team is for others and that’s why we’ve designed this challenge. And...we know that no matter what you will be supporting each other every step of the way!

DediKate with a Mates Points Tracker During this challenge you will be receiving points for exercise - We all like to receive something for our hard work, and when you get something for working out, it makes you feel that much more accomplished and feel like you’ve really completed something.
Bonus points The potential to earn an extra bonus point adds variety and motivation to your workout week, it encourages you to try something new and change things up!
Variation of workouts Try out our other workouts - challenge yourself and your mate to something new! Each workout is worth a certain amount of points so this is a perfect time to try one that you wouldn’t normally do to get those extra points! The variation of workouts also helps to keep you motivated and add variation.
Maximum workouts a week Within DediKate with a Mate there are four workouts a week that count towards your points - this evens the playing field, so you are challenged to complete four workouts to help you to maintain a balanced lifestyle and a healthy relationship with exercise.
