Buy From The Bush x DediKate
So, who are? Most Aussies will have heard of Buy from the Bush (BFTB), but for those that haven’t, they are the online marketplace for Australian bush businesses. BFTB was born to connect bricks and mortar stores who were struggling amongst recording breaking droughts, and continues to connect women in the bush.
Like BFTB, DediKate was born to help those in rural and regional areas who were struggling. DediKate is the online health and fitness community and app for rural and regional women, mums and those that don’t have time for or access to the gym - everyone is welcome! DediKate helps women to exercise and prioritise themselves amongst their busy lives, and to experience the benefits of doing so.
Designed by rural women for rural women, we’re all about connection, community and championing rural and regional women!

We are rural by location and/or by values, and we know firsthand the challenges of living regionally, rurally or remotely. The lifestyle is awesome but full on. Create an account on DediKate for free - no credit card details needed!
Step 2
Choose the BFTB x DediKate FREE Fitness Challenge option after creating your account!
Step 3
Go to the Challenges tab on DediKate where you should be registered for the challenge already - print your planner of choice or save it to your device, and get ready to start on Monday 17th April!

FAQs
Do I need equipment?
Equipment is optional! All you need is a small space to workout and either a phone, tablet or laptop.
If you want to do weights workouts, you will need:
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 1-4+kgs (light weights)
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 4-10+kgs (heavy weights)
- 1 set of Dumbbells, 8-20+kgs (super heavy weights if you are going the PPM (Peri to Post Menopause) planner)
And for some fun, our favourite non-essentials include earphones and a set of Resistance Bands! Get them HERE!

As a DediKate member you get access to everything on DediKate! There are no hidden fees!

How long is the challenge?
This is a four week Challenge that starts on April 17.
Is DediKate an app in the App Store?
DediKate is not found in the app store, but can still be saved to your home screen as an app! Login to DediKate at dedikate.com and go to 'Setting Up Your Device', to find the super simple instructions on how to save DediKate to your Homescreen

DediKate has an amazing team of engaging, knowledge and relatable Fitness Trainers, Pilates and Yoga Instrustors and a Nutritionist. We are all focused on helping you to lead a balanced healthy lifestyle. 50% of our team are rural or regional Australian women.
Kate Ivey
Founder, CEO, and HIIT and Strength Trainer Bachelor of Physical Education majoring in Exercise Prescription and Management (BPhEd), Scholarship in Exercise Prescription, Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology (BSc), Certificate III and IV Fitness.
Founder and CEO of Kate Ivey Fitness and DediKate, Kate is based on a farm near Aoraki/Mt Cook in the heart of the South Island of NZ, with her husband and three children. She started DediKate to help busy women like herself to lead positive, healthy and fitness-filled lives. Kate is passionate about rural and regional women's health and fitness and making exercise accessible for everyone. She credits the success of DediKate to her down-to-earth approach to fitness.
Em Herbert
Yoga and Pilates Instructor
Certified STOTT Pilates Trained, Certified Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Trained
Em Herbert has been practising yoga and pilates for 15 years and has been teaching for the last five across the UK, NZ, Australia and southern Africa. Raised on horseback in the Australian bush, Em found herself back in Aussie in 2020 thanks to COVID-19 and couldn't be happier about it. She lives with her sculptor husband, Adam and their toddler son, Huckleberry as well as their mini-dachshunds, Kip and Plum.
Em loves how interconnected the body and mind is, and credits her practise to saving her bacon - and enjoys helping others find the same joy in moving their bodies.
Nic Sandland
HIIT + Strength Trainer
Certificate III & IV in Fitness, Bachelor in Dance Performance, Certificate IV in Dance, Strength & Conditioning (ASCA), Pre & Post Natal (mishfit® Pre & Post-Natal training & Pre & Postnatal Specialist Trainer course with Tammy Obst, STOTT PILATES reformer, BARRE instructor, Punch fit level 1 & Kettlebell level 1.
Despite being a city girl at heart Nic fell in love with her local community in Jamestown, South Australia where she moved for her farming husband. Nic then discovered a particular passion for training and helping women in rural areas and launched NicFit Training, a PT and group fitness studio in 2019, which has since expanded into a member-based gym.
With 12 plus years of experience in the Adelaide fitness industry Nic has found her true calling through personal training: helping others to also find a love of movement and exercise.
Phillipa Moloney
Pilates Instructor
Certificate IV in Pilates Matwork & Reformer
Phillipa is a born and bred country girl. Raised on a cattle station in Western Queensland and now living in Goondiwindi, she has always been a bush girl with a huge love for health and fitness. Despite her love for horses and cattle, she found herself drawn to the fitness and health industry. Phillipa is incredibly passionate about not only the physical and athletic benefits of staying fit in the bush but also the incredible mental clarity and self accomplishment it provides. "Whether it be a 20 minute walk up the local dirt road, a DediKate workout or a trip into the Pilates studio whilst doing the weekly grocery run; I just want rural women to look after their health and feel GOOD."
